Our story

Three decades, three chapters

Our foundation is SHIVALI, established in Ahmedabad thirty years ago. Over three decades, SHIVALI earned its place as a front-runner in women's Indian wear and a name retailers across the country trust for design, quality and dependability.

In January 2015, S4U was launched as SHIVALI's next chapter, with a clear purpose: to make designer-quality women's wear accessible to the trade and, through the trade, to women in every part of India. The brand grew quickly, carried by the same discipline that built SHIVALI: our own design studio, our own production and our own standards.

In January 2016, Label S4U followed, created to reinterpret Indian occasion wear with a contemporary, Western-influenced sensibility while keeping prices within reach. Label S4U takes fashion seriously and pricing honestly, and today it stands as our designer festive and Indo-western label in sizes S to 5XL.

S4UOur core range of suit sets, co-ords, kurta sets, palazzo and sharara sets and festive lines, priced under ₹3,999 MRP, built for steady sell-through in multi-brand stores and showrooms.

Label S4UOur designer festive and Indo-western range, ₹999 to ₹6,999 MRP, sizes S to 5XL, for the occasion-wear customer: Karwa Chauth, Diwali, puja, card parties and the full wedding calendar for bridesmaids, guests and mothers of the couple.

Together, the two brands let a retailer serve the complete festive and occasion-wear customer from one supplier.

How we work

Ranges you can see before you buy

Our Ahmedabad showroom offers private buying cabins where ranges are presented to seated buyers. Ranges can be viewed by appointment, at trade exhibitions or through our visiting sales representatives. Orders are confirmed on barcoded ranges and dispatched from our own packing floor. Shop-in-shop and franchise formats are available for partners seeking a branded presence.

Every style is designed and graded in-house. Lining, seams, embroidery and drape are checked on the finished garment before packing, so what reaches your store is what your customer expects.
